Between 2008 and 2011, he completed his research-plus-clinical vitreoretina fellowship at the Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, in Chennai. With 15 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology and 12 years in the field of vitreo-retina, he is a senior consultant at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, with a passion for patient care, academia, research, and fellowship training. He manages common retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal arterial and venous occlusive diseases, and age-related macular degeneration on a regular basis. His work on macular telangiectasia, retinal arterial occlusion, and central serous chorioretinopathy is well-known. Additionally, he performs minimally invasive vitreous surgery (MIVS) for the treatment of retinal detachments, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, trauma, endophthalmitis, and macular hole and epiretinal membrane. In his previous position at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in Delhi, he was responsible for screening premature infants for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). He is a member of the All-India Ophthalmological Society, the Vitreo Retinal Society of India, the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, the Rajasthan Ophthalmology Society, and the Maharashtra Ophthalmology Society. He has published more than 180 research papers in national and international PUBMED indexed journals. He has contributed chapters on retinal diseases to a number of national and international textbooks. He has served as the main investigator for a number of therapeutic drug clinical trials and collaborates on research with other international ophthalmic institutions around the world. His primary area of interest in research is retinal imaging in various retinal and choroidal diseases.

I came for the cataract operation for my father.I was in lot of dilemma of getting operation done as my father had some complications.
