I am competent in doing vitreoretinal surgeries of varied difficulties. I have routinely been doing between 3-5 surgeries per week since I joined Narayana Nethralaya in 2009 till date and am proficient in use of all types of lasers for retinal diseases including slit-lamp laser, LIO and Pascal Laser and Laser for ROP babies.
One of my strengths lies in ophthalmic imaging including the interpretation of B- Scan, Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography, OCT Angiography, Fundus Autoflourescence, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography, Indocyanine Green Angiography.

Dr. Subhash Chandra is a wonderful Doctor. My mother , patient Maya Bhowmik had retina hole ( Macular hole SX). Since there were delays from our end .. hole enlarged . There were less chances of hole getting closed completely. It was very difficult operation. However, Dr. Subhash Chandra sir operated. Hole closed. Her vision improved immensely. She recovered.
